Glenn Stevenson

My artwork celebrates the lives of the most influential artists in the history of Western popular music.

Born in the United States, Glenn moved to the United Kingdom when his father was posted by the US Air Force. From a young age Glenn’s passion for music and art grew. His love of guitar led to his interest in the Blues, Jazz and Soul of the Legends who have shaped the world of popular music we know today.

Glenn has a respect for these musicians who lived hard lives in times of racial oppression and segregation. It was a dangerous time for Blues musicians traveling alone across the USA, especially in the South.

Their fortitude and the quality of their music has stood the test of time, and influenced many of todays legends such as Hendrix, Clapton, Beck, Page and many more.

Glenn has exhibited his work in galleries in the UK, Spain and South East Asia. He writes, produces and plays guitar regularly with his band.

"I use pencil (2H - 8B) and Graphite to get the effect and shading that I like. I normally use a high quality card size A2 for my originals but this can vary on commissions. The images will be available soon as greeting cards, mounted prints, framed prints and of course the original. I hope you enjoy the work. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me."
